“Our son learned a new word today,” John said as he put Hamish on the floor beside his chair.
Sherlock looked over from the doorway he had just appeared in. “Oh?”
“Yes. Mycroft dropped by with a case for you. Something about utmost urgency, top clearance and whatnot.”
“Did Hamish call him mummy, mama, or some variation?” Sherlock’s brows rose in hopefulness, making John laugh.
“No, he didn’t, although that would’ve been priceless as well.” He turned towards their son and leaned forward to stroke his hair. “Hamish, tell Daddy what you told Uncle Mycroft earlier.” Hamish looked between them, as if to ask if John were sure he should say it. “Tell Daddy, he’ll like it as much as Papa.”
Hamish smiled his endearing smile and looked up at Sherlock with dark blue eyes. “Idiot.”

Thanks to the overwhelming response to the Sherlock Tea Give Away (which ended a few days ago, you can stop reblogging it now <3), Adagio and I have decided to help make sure even MORE people have a chance to try some of the fandom tea blends I’ve made <3
Not only that, but Adagio is going a step further and sending each weeks winner one of their IngenuiTEA tea brewers along with the tea! THE WATSON BLEND: Queen and Country traditionalist, but still recounting his days in Afghanistan drinking green tea, John Watson prefers his tea with a bit of cream, no sugar, and just a little warm from a touch of cinnamon. (irish breakfast, cinnamon, earl grey green)
MY REVIEW OF IT: “In the bag, it smells wonderful. You get that strong, warm cinnamon scent first, then you realize there’s some earl grey in there too and I melt just a little bit because it’s just such a comforting smell. Warm and familiar and calming. The cinnamon smell is still strong in the cup, and kind of reminds me of red hot candies LOL. And oh man. This tea is naturally really nice and sweet without any added sugar. The cinnamon continues to be be dominant, but you definitely get the earl grey in there with the sweet orange tones. This tea is absolutely lovely and definitely reminds me of John. I think it’s earned its ranking.”

Sometimes when I log into tumblr…
I’ll look at my dashboard and then smile and think to myself “I built this dashboard. I went to every blog and made the decision to follow them. This is a good dashboard.” And I feel all mushy and warm on the inside when I realize that other people have added me to their dashboard that they must also love and I just feel good.
And then I scroll down and there is literally a photoset of naked butts.

SHERLOCK TEA COLLECTION GIVE AWAY!
Awesome news guys! The cool folks at Adagio have been kind enough to help out with a giveaway for a complete collection of the Sherlock Tea blends. That is 11 bags of different tea featuring art work by yours truly. That’s about 50 servings in each bag. More if you re-steep your tea (which is possible with most of them). That is a LOT of tea. How bonkers is that? Very. It’s awesome. Here’s the lowdown on how to win A WHOLE BUNCH OF TEA.
Anyone ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD can enter! If you live outside of the U.S. I’ll foot the bill to get you some tea myself. Because odds are you are awesome and you deserve it.
You do not have to be following me to win, but it might be helpful to keep track of updates or changes (if any). Plus I plan to make some blends for other fandoms in the future, so if tea is your thing, it might not be a bad idea?
